Kenneth Jay Lane began his extraordinary career back in the early 1960's, and continues to provide the world with his remarkable costume jewelry even now. Often, he takes his original pieces from those days and re-issues them. The new pieces are sometimes identical to the original, but often he makes subtle changes; he'll keep the design elements, but change the stones and color themes. This is the case with the bracelet I offer here. I have included a scan from the Kenneth Jay Lane memoirs entitled "Faking It" (seen in the final photo above), which shows the original dragon bracelet, because I thought that you might enjoy the historical significance. The bracelet that I offer is very similar.
